Guess what? Your phone is a mobile traking device. All four major phone companies admitted that they keep track of users locations, but Verizon is the only company that suggested putting a warning label on the phones. The locational data they have is stored for varying periods of time between the phone companies. Verizon stores it for 7 years, Sprint for 3 years, AT&T for anywhere from a few days to 5 years. T-Mobile did not disclose this information.
Did you know that they did this? I didn't, but it makes sense. Right? This all happened because of two British dudes who created an app for iPhone and iPads that let users see the location data stored on them. That's kinda scary, but now NCIS has something to go off of.

When I saw this...I thought people might react negatively. But, if you are a lawful citizen who doesn't commit crimes...why should you care?
ReplyDeleteWe've all seen CSI and we know they can track us this way...no warning label needed.
Yeah. Watch BAD COMPANY and one of the guys says that.
ReplyDeleteThat is why i dont have a phone. the goverment dose not need to know were i am all the time.
ReplyDeleteThis sucks that is somewhat of a way of invading privacy.
ReplyDeletethats pretty messed up how is it legal for them to do that i would consider that a invasion of privacy and not constituional, 7 years your telling me they have none where i have been for the last seven years CREEPY!!!!!
ReplyDeletethats lame, but at the same time i see the sense in it, might just save some lives
ReplyDeleteUmm thats kinda wierd... But It could be useful if someone gets kidnapped, or if u just loose ur phone, they can find it.
