Ok, I somewhat recently fell upon this as I was browsing YouTube. It's a Japanese OVA (or Original Video Animation) by Ordet studios in Japan. It's based on a song by Supercell and it's music video. The video is around 50 minutes long, but someone on YouTube kindly broke it down into 10-12 min segments, and there are 4 parts of the movie like that, but it depends on who's version you watch.
The whole movie is about a girl named Mato and another girl named Yomi who meet on their first day of Junior high. They become best friends, and they both join a sport. Mato chooses Basketball while Yomi chooses Volleyball, but they both practice at the same time in the gym. They spend a lot of time together, but then their second year of Junior High starts and they get split. They both have different classes, and start hanging out less. Yomi becomes jealous of Mato as she starts hanging out with the basketball manager named Yuu. (I probably should've mentioned this earlier, but it is an all girl school).
Then, one day, Yomi doesn't show up at school. Mato worries, but thinks nothing of it. Then she receives news that Yomi has been reported missing, and is questioned by two detectives about her whereabouts. Mato soon becomes depressed, and sends Yomi texts, but Yomi never answers. This goes on for about a week before she does receive a text from Yomi. Mato freaks out, but it's blank. This causes Mato to rush to their favorite place, but all she finds is the phone charm that she gave her. It starts to glow, and transports her to another place, where she bonds with Black Rock Shooter to save Yomi, who has been possessed by Dead Master, who wields a giant scythe and controls two Skull minions. Black Rock Shooter is armed with an arm cannon that fires 20 rounds per second and a fiery blue left eye. It shows the battle that takes place between the two, but it's throughout the episode. In the end, Mato saves Yomi, but then Yuu starts acting strange. The End.
I really enjoyed the anime, but just to forewarn you, the thing is spoken only in Japanese. English subtitles, but Japanese voices.

Sure to make waves this summer, jet-powered surfboards
Yes, it's true. For $4,500 dollars, you can get this new invention from Wavejet that makes surfing easier. This jet powered surf-board goes 5-12 mph, depending on what motor you get. The motor is located in the back of the board, and sucks water through it and pushes it out the back to make it go. It gives off a low hum and weighs 15 lbs, but Wavejet says that they don't feel heavy in the water and ride like a traditional surf board. They are aiming at surfers who have weak arms and lifegaurds who need to go save victims quickly.
I don't know how to surf, but this sounds like a lot of fun. I kinda want to try it, just to see how fun it is. What do y'all think?

Verizon to put location-tracking warning sticker on phones
Guess what? Your phone is a mobile traking device. All four major phone companies admitted that they keep track of users locations, but Verizon is the only company that suggested putting a warning label on the phones. The locational data they have is stored for varying periods of time between the phone companies. Verizon stores it for 7 years, Sprint for 3 years, AT&T for anywhere from a few days to 5 years. T-Mobile did not disclose this information.
Did you know that they did this? I didn't, but it makes sense. Right? This all happened because of two British dudes who created an app for iPhone and iPads that let users see the location data stored on them. That's kinda scary, but now NCIS has something to go off of.
