- Relaxation (before a headache happens, try stretching or deep breathing to relieve stress.
- Heat/Cold Therapy (with a headache try heating or cooling the hurt area. Both methods work, so use whichever one you want)
- Caffeine (during a mild headache, try sipping a cup of coffee. The caffeine helps calm your headache.)
- Peppermint Tea (during a headache with an upset stomach, try drinking some peppermint tea. It helps calm down your stomach, which may be the cause of your headache.)
- Over-the-counter meds (with a headache, we all know to try and take some Tylenol or Ibuprofen. Or Excedrin, since it has some caffeine in it)
- Acupuncture (with massive headaches comes the needles. Acupuncture's can reduce muscle tension and encourage the release of painkilling endorphins)

My favorite one is the caffeine one. I think there is something to this...I've had a headache and had caffeine and it was gone. :)

ReplyDeletewhenever i get a bad headache im not trying acupuncture ill take my chances with the tylenol
ReplyDeleteIt's Jest a headache but if i would have to chose one i would use the caffeine one.
ReplyDelete10 treatments of acupuncure to relieve a single headache, ridiculous, ill stick with the caffeine treatments
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to try one of these cause I have a constant headache every day and its not dehydration. It would be kind of cool if peppermint tea really does work. lol :)
